Margaret West Erickson

She was born in San Antonio, Texas on June 13, 1966, and graduated from Interlochen Center for the Arts and attended some college. Margaret is preceded in death by her mother, Robbie Adams Bodden. She was married to James D. Erickson on February 27th, 1988, and is survived by her husband and daughter Robbie West Erickson and extended family father Vernie D. Bodden, MD, sister Mary W. Daly and family, brother George W. Bodden and family, and brother Vernie D. Bodden, III and family.

Margaret will be remembered as being generous of heart, passionate and patient with all animals, her non-profit project works, a beautiful singing voice, and her incisive wit. She was a people person who never met a stranger, loved a good joke, and enjoyed entertaining her friends. Her show dog kennel activities for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels which involved breeding, raising, and showing dogs brought her much joy. She fought her disease with strength and courage, and met her end with dignity, grace, and peace. As she wished there will be a private wake for family and close friends.
