Margaret L. Quesenberry, age 89, was called to heaven by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 5, 2011. A strong woman who devoutly practiced her Catholic faith, she was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church for over 60 years. Margaret was born in Victoria, Texas on October 18, 1921 and moved to San Antonio, Texas in 1948 with her mom and other family members. In 1960 she married Steve Quesenberry who passed away in 1972. A devoted mother and grandmother, she is survived by her daughter, Sharon Mery, son in law, Jim Mery, and grandchildren, Stephen, Tara, and Michelle. Nothing gave her more pleasure than to be with her grandchildren. A celebration of her life and visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Thursday, February 10, 2011 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas. A funeral Mass will be held at 8:00 A.M. on Friday, February 11, 2011 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 350 Sutton Road with interment following at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery.
