Margarita Machado

She was born in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico on March 16, 1940.

Margarita moved to Los Angeles, CA when she married her husband Bonifacio Machado on April 28, 1963. She then moved to Chula Vista, CA where she resided for most of her life.

Margarita worked alongside her husband and successfully ran a small owned business in the automotive industry from 1968 to 2017 in Chula Vista, CA .

She was also a dedicated mother who raised 6 of her children at home with the help of her loving parents and two youngest sisters.

Her hobbies and interests were gardening, reading, solving crossword puzzles, baking and cooking and most importantly to her was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Margarita is preceded in death by her parents Canuto Pina and Maria de la Luz Pina, Her brother Alfredo Pina Serrano, Sister Sara Galmez and daughter Yvonne Machado Adipietro.

She was survived by her son’s Julio C. Machado, Mark A. Machado, Francisco J. Machado, Alex Machado and daughter Diana Machado. Her grandchildren Ashley, Julio Jr., Yvonne, Victoria, Kenya, Alicia and Priscilla. Sisters, Maria T. Enriquez and Juana Pina.

A visitation will be held from 6:30 - 7:00 pm followed by a memorial service from 7:00 - 8:00 pm on August 25, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
