Born on September 12, 1932, Carolina's 92 years were marked by a profound devotion to her faith, family, and the simple joys of life.
Carolina was the beloved matriarch of a large and vibrant family. She was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Gaspar R. Carvajal, and her son, John Carvajal. She is survived by her loving children: Theresa Carrasco and Joe, Gasper T. Carvajal and his wife Angie, Betty Jean Rose, Raymond Carvajal and his wife Norma, Patricia Villarreal and her husband Alfred, Joann Baker Carvajal, Mark Carvajal and his wife Sylvia, Lou Carvajal, Christine Villarreal and her husband Steven, and Mary Katherine Carvajal Acosta.
Carolina's legacy also includes a remarkable 23 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immeasurable joy and pride. A woman of deep faith, Carolina's daily devotional Bible study was the cornerstone of her spiritual life. Her commitment to her faith was evident in her actions and the love she extended to everyone around her. Carolina also found pleasure in the challenge of crossword puzzles, a pastime that kept her mind sharp and provided countless hours of quiet enjoyment.
Those who knew Carolina will remember her as a loving, faith-filled, and selfless person. She had the unique ability to make others feel loved and valued, and her presence was a source of comfort and strength.
