Maria de la Luz Moreno Campos, age 95, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Luz was born in Dallas, TX in 1926, but spent the majority of her life in San Antonio, where she worked in retail sales and raised 6 of her children.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Lupita and her granddaughter Rebecca and she is survived by her son Roy and her 5 daughters, Esther, Janie, Julia, Rose and Gloria. She was blessed with 14 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 11:00am at Sunset Funeral home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218.
