She was a strong, hardworking, loving mother who worked all her life to support her family.
Maria is preceded in death by her grandson Eyan Vander Fierro Santoscoy and her Mother Irene Castaneda and Father Arnulfo Castaneda.
Maria is survived by the following:
Her children: Marian Fierro (& Natalie E. Santoscoy), Anne Marie Fierro, Joseph E. Fierro.
Sisters: Espie Rangel (& Jerry Rangel), Alice Saucedo, Irene Herrera, and Elizabeth Castaneda.
Grandchildren: Liam B. Fierro Santoscoy, Leander K. Fierro Santoscoy, Israel R. Becerra, Richard A. Flores, Jaime Sierra Jr., Destiny Fierro, Dominic Fierro (& Gabriella Fierro), Joseph Fierro Jr.
Great grandchildren: Kenzo Fierro, Kiah Fierro
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 4:00pm at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238.
