Maria T. Villarreal was born to Jacinto Torres and Epifania Vallonez on July 20, 1950, in Piedras Negras, Mexico.
She is survived by her three sons, Juan Villarreal, Robert Villarreal, and Edward Villarreal along with her daughter, Mary Ellen Villarreal: along with their spouses. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Mom was the eldest of eight.
Mom loved music, cooking, and oh how she loved her Dallas Cowboys! Win or lose. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was dedicated and a hard worker. Our mother and father instilled a strong work ethic and faith for God into all their children. Mom fought so hard throughout her life, and she always came up winning with grace. Mom always took pride in where she came from, her querida Mexico and she created deep roots and a foundation to ensure all her children never forgot where she was from and where our roots lied. However, the time finally came on September 2, 2021, that mom could finally rest. You can rest now, mom. You now have your place in heaven where you are healthy and pain free.
Viewing ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021, from 5 p.m.- 9 p.m. at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home. The following day, Friday, September 10, 2021, a service will also take place from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. at the same location.
