For every person who knew her, Marie made life nicer and brighter.  She is very much missed.  I am grateful that I got to know Marie.

Marie, all your Silver Sneakers Fitness Class are mourning the loss of a great and sweet member of their group.  No matter how tough it sometimes became, you are there doing your best.  We miss you and extend our condolences to your wonderful family.

We share in the family's loss of Marie. It was always a joy seeing her at our knitting group, Young at Heart meetings and doing the BRCC bulletins. She always wanted to know "what we'd been up to".  We'll miss her.

Marie, it's so wonderful to read all the beautiful tributes to you.  I know you are smiling in heaven to see how many lives you touched here on earth.  You were a wonderful mother, friend, and you will be missed by all of us.  My heartfelt prayers and love  to Steve, David, and Debbie.  May the Lord give you comfort during the days ahead.  Ken, you were a great friend all these years to Marie and I know you will miss her greatly, may God comfort you.

Words can never express the feeling of great loss, I feel right now.  Marie has always been there for me. In the past 39yrs, we've been thru a lot together, both joyous and sad.

 What fun we had teaching her to loom knit. Despite her "I'll never learn", she did and many times I told her, her work was the neatest I'd ever seen.

She hated to shop but sometime, bless her heart, she'd give in and go with me.  Her passion was eating out.  She knew about every restaurant in town.  Monday, I'll bet she'll find her chili relleno somewhere in Heaven.

Marie, you'll always be in my heart as a beloved sister.

Marie we shared stories with each other and i know some day in the future we will share some more when i see you in heaven. We had some laughs over our talks. I know it was fun. See ya later love Dixie

Grammy, I love you dearly. I have so many memories of you from getting my first cup of coffee at your house (although it was mainly milk and sugar) to going to church with you when I was little and you teaching me how to sing "Jesus Loves Me". I remember weekend breakfasts of biscuits and gravy; Sunday dinners; and homemade popcorn for the movies we watched at your house with me, you, and Dad. Thank you for your love. I have known Marie since 1971 when her son David and I became best friends. Marie always had a smile for me whenever I saw her and a big hug too. In highschool I remember Marie would open her home and allow me to stay over.  The Jones Family always made me feel like part of the family.  I have some great memories of those times spent with the family and the joy and laughter we all shared.  Marie kept in touch with me and Linda every year by sending us a Christmas card to update me on Steve, Debbie and of course my best friend David and how their families were doing. For the time that ive known grandma jones she was a very intelligent lady,and a wonderful grandma. I'm very sadden that she never got to meet her great grandson Eli Hinton and sum of  my recent family additions.Grandma will be missed very much and continuosly loved.
