Marie Cecilia Salas went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2019 at the age of 81. She was preceded in death by her belated husband, Alfonso M. Salas; parents, Daniel and Paula Guerra; sister, Martha Garcia; brother, Antonio Guerra; grandson, Christopher Jaramillo. Marie is survived by her companion of 40 years Simon E. Sanchez; her children and their spouses; Rosalinda Ruiz, Lucia and Samuel Ruiz, Virginia Salas, Clotilde Guadalupe Salas, Alfonso Salas, Jr., Maria Magalena Salas, John Albert Salas, Teresa and Allen Snelling, Anna Marie Jaramillo and Victor Sauceda; sister and brothers, Daniel Guerra, Jr. Magaleno Guerra and Mary Jane Maldonado; 43 grandchildren, 107 great grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren. Serving as Pallbearers Fred Ruiz, Jr., Richard Solis, Alfonso Salas III, Gilbert Salas, Alex Camarillo, Isaac Salas, Jesse Salas, Luis Jaramillo and Anthony Jaramillo, Jr. Visitation will begin 5:00 pm Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Trevino Funeral Home. 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A procession will depart at 9:30 am Wednesday, December 11, 2019 for a 10:00 am Mass at San Juan De Los Lagos. Interment to follow in San Fernando No. 2 Cemetery.
