Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her, and would brighten any room with her presence. She was a popular resident while in assisted living, and made new friends easily. She was an active resident and participated regularly in the Bible Study, singing, and puzzle building groups.
Marilyn was talented and throughout her adult life created beautiful paintings of landscapes, seascapes, and birds. Her preferred mediums were oil paint and pastels. Her artwork is enjoyed by many and displayed in the homes of friends and loved ones. In her younger days, she enjoyed ballroom dancing with her husband George and a group of fellow parishioners. She was an active member of her church choir until her health made her step back.
Marilyn is survived by George, her devoted husband of 62 years, her three sons; Scott (and Suma), Buck (and Jade), Burke (and Suzie), and grandson Eric…
