
He was born October 22, 1956 in Alamogordo, New Mexico to Verne J. Lynch and Yvonne Jones Lynch.
Mark proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.
Mark loved coaching and watching his son at McAllister Park Little League. He served as a volunteer for the Encino Park swim team where his children Kelly and Grant competed.
Mark could tell a great story and loved to make people laugh. He was employed with HoneyBaked Ham Company for 20 years.
Mark is survived by his wife and best friend of 17 years, Mary Ruth Lynch; children, Grant and Kelly Jo Lynch; mother, Yvonne Lynch; brothers, Bob and Greg Lynch, all of Michigan; sister, Lorraine Jocius and her husband, Bob of Dripping Springs; mother and father-in-law, Pattie Jo and Jack Wilson; brothers-in-law, Andrew Wilson and his wife, Jayne and Rusty Wilson and his fiancée, Lori Sanchez, all of Houston; nieces, nephews and numerous family and friends.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital of San Antonio; especially CICU nurses Rachel and Kevin.
Mark fought the good fight, he finished the race, he kept the faith.
