Although I'm the oldest, Mark was always my "big brother". I will miss our phone calls on Sundays, discussing books, music, philosophy, family, work. His bear hugs, dazzling smile, sense of humor. No one can take your place, Marky-dink!

I loved swapping stories about our students with Mark. He loved his "kids" and his face would light up when he talked about the projects they were working on or his ideas on improving the process. Mark loved his family just as intensely. I will miss his big bear hugs, his quick wit, and his grin.

Mark was like a second father to me growing up. Thank you for all the lessons you taught me about bowling and life. I will miss you tremendously!

My cousin Mark spoke of the many students he worked with. He told us about their many accomplishments and was very proud of each and every one of them. He said he loved going to work on Monday just so he could see his students. I hope that they will understand how much joy they brought to him.

Incredibly sad to hear of Mark's passing just a month after my sister died, MaryBeth (almost a month to the day of hers)...he was a great friend of ours, we had many, many good times together, MaryBeth, Carlos and myself...he had such a big heart...very sad to hear this, but serves as reminder to all of us who love them to remember that our time on this earth is short and to never forget that we were not made to spend eternity here...RIP Mark, we love you...enjoy the rewards of heaven my friend!
