She is preceded into Heaven by her parents, Felix and Matiana Acosta and her Irish twin sister, Diana (DONNA) Acosta.
Martha is survived by her loving sisters Jessica F. and Laura A. Acosta; niece Stephanie Nicole Acosta-Torres; nephews Emilio, Elijah, Zechariah, Ezrah and Uriah Acosta-Torres; aunts: Bertha Acosta and Theresa Castro; beloved cousins David Briseno and Toni Duarte, God Daughters Lori Duarte, Kimberly Johnson and Carly Sanchez. As well as life long friends, Artie and Ellette Harold and lots of extended family and friends that became family.
Martha worked at BAMC for 30 years and just retired in 2017. She always had a helping hand to lend. She LOVED her Moscato. And had a lifelong love of playing her guitar and singing her heart out! Definitely an Angelic sound to hear. She made the absolute best cheesecake and loved to try baking new things! And was known for being the "Queen" of games.
Martha devoted her time and energy to the ALS San Antonio Chapter in honor of her sister ♡
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 7th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with recitation of the rosary at 7:00 PM in the chapel at Porter Loring on McCullough.
