

She was born on March 28, 1941, in Forth Worth, TX to Jewel and Mamie Morris, and was baptized in Arlington Heights UMC in Fort Worth. Prentice and Martha were married on August 31, 1963, and she confirmed her Christian faith on December 15, 1963. She was a teacher in NEISD until she began her own family. In addition to being a devoted and caring wife and mother, she continued her love of teaching by volunteering as a docent at the San Antonio Museum of Art for over 20 years.
As a Charter Member of Crown of Life Lutheran Church, Martha was dedicated to serving the church in many different roles. She also served on the staff of four National Youth Conventions for the LCMS, and was an active member of San Antonio Women's CPA Auxiliary.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Delano and Maurice; and her beloved husband. Survivors include her daughter, Amy Lee Harman and her husband, Jim of Dallas; her son, Eric David Andres and his wife, Ashley of San Antonio; 4 grandchildren, Haley Harman and Drew Harman of Dallas, and Brady Andres and Macey Lee Andres of San Antonio; brothers- and sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crown of Life Lutheran Church.
