Martha J. Taylor, age 77, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025, in Boerne, Texas. She was born on December 5, 1947, in Piggott, Arkansas, to parents Mary A. (Pollock) and Marvin T. Taylor. She attended Piggott High School and Arkansas State University. She spent her Career working for the Missouri Department of Family Services where she served as an Income Maintenance Caseworker/Supervisor. She also served as the Church Pianist/Organist weekly for the Southern Baptist Churches that she attended throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Julius Taylor, and her sister Phyllis Morgan. Martha is survived by her sister, Linda Deck and her loving husband of 45 years, John P. Price Jr., daughter, Amy Martha (Price) Ryland, son-in-law Ryan Ryland, and granddaughter Amelia Ryland.
A Memorial Service with be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Leon Springs Baptist Church, 24133 Boerne State Road., Leon Springs, TX.
A private interment will take place at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leon Springs Baptist Church.
