Dad, Angie, Abel and Roland:  My deepest condolences for your sudden loss.  Though I knew Mary, your mom, but for a few years, I will always be grateful for her kindness and generosity towards me, my kids and grandkids, for the short talks and laughter we shared when I would call, and for always making sure we felt welcomed when visiting.  We will surely miss Mary, your mom, and please know that our hearts and thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Mary was one of our valuable and loving friend ❤my husband Jose a Gonzalez is best friends with her sons Abel and Roland. I loved sitting talking to her. We always laughed and talked lot about gambling .Mary is one of  kind loving giving loved her family so so much 💔💜 I will and my husband Jose will miss her so much she will always be in our 💕 RIP 🙏❤  

I have and will forever miss this very special woman who I call Senora. I met her at the age of 13 and She was the strongest woman I have ever met and I loved her so much. I can only hope she knew how much. So much un said...you always think you have time to say and do things you want ,until something like this happens and time runs out. Will she ever know how much I loved her and how much she still lives in me today. I find myself doing things  like she did ...like decorating for every season, walking around in a tshirt while at home...leaving the turkey out on Thanksgiving...the way she made her mashed potatoes or her chorizo Mexicano...her plants and love of flowers...little things ...but just recognizing the influence of all those years. She was tough no matter what and always smiling. I missed her so much even before she was gone..my biggest regret is not telling her how special she was and that the hardest thing to do was to stay away. The only comfort I have is that the last time I did see her we looked at each other and I hugged her and told her that I missed her. ♥ I love you Senora hug Nicole for me .

Sad to hear of Tia Mary passing. She was always very nice and welcomed you  with a smile and a hug. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband, Alfred G. Alcantar; sisters, Oralia Curd (Charles) and Connie Martinez (George); brothers, Paul De La Rosa, Tony De La Rosa (Linda), Rudy De La Rosa; brother in law, Armando Celestino; daughter, Angie Guevara (Lupe); sons, Abel Alcantar and Roland Alcantar (Nancy). She had 9 grand children, 9 great grand children and numerous nieces and nephews.




She was preceded in death by her parents, Pablo and Angelita De La Rosa; sister, Angelita Celestino; and beloved grand daughter, Nicole Martinez.
