Mary Jane Buchanan

Mary Jane Buchanan, age 83, passed away on Monday, June 10 in New Braunfels, TX. She was born on October 22, 1928 in Duluth, MN to parents, Elmer and Genevieve Kruger. Mary was a stay at home mom, raising her four sons while standing by her husband. They were Military nomads traveling the world for the first 25 years of their marriage, continuing to do so after military retirement with a second career in civil service in Denver, CO. they finally retired in San Antonio, where their sons resided at the time. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dale Buchanan, Sr., who left this world on February 13, 2001 to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mary is survived by her son, Robert Dale Buchanan, Jr. and wife, Susan and their children, Shannon Lee Trussell and husband, Steve, Melissa Dawn (Buchanan) Adams; son, Thomas Buchanan and wife, Melissa and his children, Shellie Deleon and husband Eddie, Jackie Grey and husband, Michael, Rachael Dale and husband, Aaron; son, Gerald Buchanan and wife, Debra and their children, Wayne and Wyatt Buchanan; son, James Buchanan and wife, Charlene and their children, Brandon, Cody and Sara; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; and 1 brother residing in Colorado.
