Mary Marie Escobal was born in Gregory, Texas on April 28, 1921 to Joseph Amel Sahadi and Annie Mallouf and entered eternal life on September 24, 2015 in San Antonio, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Escobal; siblings, Alec Sahadi, Joe Sahadi, Maggie Mallouf, Helen Holloway, Rosalie Szymanski, Sadie Hawley and NIck Sahadi. She is survived by her son, Robert Escobal and wife, Shirley; daughters, Geralynn Yost-Wilkerson and husband, Steve; LInda Stanchak; grandchildren, Derek Escobal, Jaime Cofield and husband, Chance, Denise Gavia, Keith Gavia; great-grandchildren, Grayson Cofield, Presley Cofield, Cannon Colfield; sisters, Liz Colter of Portland, TX and Nell Vacek of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday September 28, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
