Mary G. Weller Frost

On Wednesday, November 30, 2011 surrounded by her family, the angels came for Mary to take her to her heavenly home. Mary G. Weller Frost, age 92, born May 7, 1919 in Ellicottville, Cattaraugus County, N.Y. Mary graduated from Notre Dame of Maryland.

She had a rich life from breakfast with Eleanor Roosevelt, turning down dates with JFK and long walks with Thomas Merton. Off to be a Marine, where she met and married F.J. Frost. She was strong willed and always looked out for family.

A classy lady and the mother of six faced the challenge of an adventure and moved to Mexico added number seven in Oaxaca, Mexico. She has called San Antonio home since 1963, where she added number eight.

Mary is survived by Mary M. Frost Contie, Bill Frost, Pat Frost de la Cruz and Roy, Gerry Frost and Leo Rodriguez, Christopher Frost, Cathy Frost Scott and Steve, Mike Frost, and Ed Frost and Feather, twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous other family members.

She always had a smile or a funny face for everyone. We called her the energizer bunny.
