

She was born on December 6, 1929 in San Antonio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hackley Willis and her sister, Annie Laurie Howells.
Mary Margaret was a graduate of Incarnate Word High School and attended Our Lady of the Lake University. She was a founding member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church, member of the Altar Society and Catholic Daughters. In the earlier years of the Parish, she worked with the CYO and the CCD programs. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy, Daughters of American Revolution and San Antonio Conservation Society.
She enjoyed her family and the many times spent together. She loved her many travels to various cities, states and countries with her husband, Jerry. Margaret and Jerry took many memorable trips with their family and especially enjoyed trips to the Texas coast every summer.
Jerry and Margaret recently celebrated 61 years of marriage. Mary Margaret will be remembered as a remarkable, Christian lady who loved with a passion her family, community and church. She was genuinely loved and respected by everyone who knew her.
Mary Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Jerry Gueldner, her sister, Lucy Catherine Rusiewicz of Colorado Springs, Colorado and husband Lawrence; her four children, Virginia Ann Dicker and husband Charles of New Braunfels, Thomas Gerald Gueldner and wife Rosilea of Port Aransas, Patrick Anthony Gueldner and wife Patricia of Bulverde, and Christine Marie Hoog of San Antonio and her longtime friend Jeffery Payne.
Her grandchildren include, Katy Alford and husband Jonathan, Lindsay Dicker, Hayley Gueldner, Joshua Gueldner and wife Amanda, Zachary Gueldner, Tyler Gueldner, Kayla Gueldner, and Shannan Schnittger and husband Jason.
She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, Banya, Riley, Clinton, Michael, Makayela, Malachi and Mackenzie.
The family wishes to extend a huge thank you to Methodist Hospital, Odyssey Hospice Care and to Griswold Special Care. The family also wishes to thank all who have supported us during our time of need.
The family will receive guests from 5:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
