Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who loved her family more than anything. She took great pride in her children and grandchildren, always sharing stories about them with joy. Mary dedicated 34 years of her life as a dialysis nurse, a career she truly loved before retiring. Her compassion and care touched countless lives.
In her personal time, Mary enjoyed bowling and was proud to have achieved the title of state champion. She was a strong, independent, and fierce woman with a generous heart. Mary was always willing to help anyone in need, and her kindness and wisdom left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Mary's memory will forever be in the hearts of her loving children: Ruben Martinez Jr. (Joann), Rudy Herrera Jr., Janice Arriaga, Jaqueline Fuentes, and Jennifer Sifuentes (Eddie). She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, along with numerous extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory. She is also survived by her sister, Julia Alfaro.
Mary is reunited in Heaven with her parents, Joel Herrera and Ernestine Hernandez; her sisters, Sylvia Ruffo and Lillie Gomez; and her beloved grandson, Larry Arriaga Jr.
Mary A. Herrera will be deeply missed, but her love, strength, and legacy will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
