Mary Lou was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She was a proud graduate of Jefferson High School. She was employed at Kelly Air Force Base for most of her working life, from which she retired.
A lifelong and loyal Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs fan. She never missed a game and always wore her team attire and accessories proudly. An animal lover, Mary Lou found comfort in the company of cats and dogs, who were often at her side throughout her life. One of her favorite hobbies was playing bingo, a pastime she enjoyed for many years.
Mary Lou was a devoted parishioner of St. Luke Catholic Church, where her faith and community were central to her life. Even as dementia later prevented her from attending Mass regularly, her faith remained a steady and guiding part of who she was.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James L. Davis, with whom she shared a life of companionship and devotion. Though she never had children of her own, she is survived by a host of cousins who admire her fun spirit and love of life.
Mary Lou will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
