Mary lived in San Antonio most of her life, graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1939. She had a successful business career in the family business.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Martin and parents Fletcher and Nettie Mae Mitchell.
She is survived by her daughter Cindy of Cambridge, Massachusetts; son Jim and his wife, Cindy of San Antonio; grandchildren James and Amy Martin; sister, Dorothy Bryant and husband, J.D. Bryant; brother, John Mitchell and wife, Delores Mitchell and numerous nieces and nephews.
