

Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Mary Roxanne "Roxy" Mast, passed away on January 4, 2025. Born on August 22, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio, Roxy's childhood in New Orleans, Louisiana and Mineral Wells, Texas shaped her vibrant spirit.
Roxy is survived by her loving son, Sean Mast and daughter-in-law Rachel Mast; and her cherished grandsons Rase and Rett. She also leaves behind her siblings, Bruce, William, Catherine, and Eileen Allensworth. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Allensworth.
Roxy was a proud alumna of The University of Texas, where she earned her undergraduate degree in political science. She furthered her education with a Master of Arts in Education from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Her professional journey led her to an esteemed career at Sunrise Senior Living and Five Star Senior Living, where she excelled as Director of Sales, Training, and Hospitality. Her work there was not just a job but a calling, as she dedicated herself to enhancing the lives of the residents and mentoring her colleagues with her vibrant spirit and positive energy. She always found joy in helping others with her kindness and caring.
Beyond her professional life, Roxy had a life-long love for horses, winning numerous national awards. Her love for animals extended to her affection for dogs, always sharing her home and heart with canine companions, a testament to her compassionate nature.
A memorial service to celebrate Roxy's life will be held at Porter Loring Mortuary North (2102 N Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, TX 78232). The visitation will commence at 1:00 p.m. followed by the service at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 31st, 2025.
Roxy will be remembered for her loving heart and her unwavering spirit. She touched countless lives and will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the honor of knowing her.
