Mary Jane Monroe was born in San Antonio, TX on March 24, 1925 to William C. and Edna (Stautenburger) Elley, and passed away on September 12, 2013 at the age of 88. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Jesse “Jack” H. Monroe; sisters-in-law, Fern Walker, Mildred Pedrotti; nieces and nephew, Gail Faulk (Larry), Charles E. Pedrotti, Jr. (Kay), Marilyn Schlameus (Dave), Laurie Walker; great-nieces and nephews, Dwayne Pique (Cindy), Trey Pedrotti, Melissa Kessler (Bryce), Julie Follmer (Chris), Karen Legg (Kris); great-great-nieces and nephews, Dylan, Halston and Camryn Pique and Elley Kessler. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 23, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Park.
