Mrs. Roman graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1942. She worked for the Post Office in 1943 during World War II as a Census Clerk checking mail for Classified Information; she worked at Lackland AFB where she met her husband; worked at Kelly AFB; Fort Sam Houston where she retired from Logistics Division from the Academy at BAMC.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luciano and Refugia Luna. Survivors: husband, Angel Manuel Roman; sons, Dr. Angel M. Roman, Jr. and his wife, Mary Anne, Ricardo A. Roman J.D. and wife, Judge Mary D. Roman, and Renaldo Ronnie A. Roman and wife, Cathy; granddaughters, Ivy Roman and Nicole Roman; great grandson, Gavin Munoz; sister, Josephine Luna Uriegas and husband, Celestino; nieces, Melinda Uriegas and Ararelli Uriegas.
