

She was born July 15, 1946 in San Antonio, Texas to Richard and Rosa (Schneider) Scott. On January 6, 1976, she married Dennis Schulz.
Mary was a secretary, co-founder of a prosperous small business and a homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and volunteered countless hours as a member of the St. Ann Society as well as taught Religious Education for 10 years.
She enjoyed teaching, playing games, off-centered humor and family get-togethers. Her interests included politics, traveling, gardening, bargain hunting, and listening to her favorite talk-show host.
Mary was preceded in death by her father, Richard and two sons: Dennis Jr. and Christopher. She is survived by her husband and six children: Karl and Edna Schulz of Lewisport, KY, Judy and Tom Coleman of Kingston, OK, Sarah Reilly and Todd Kuhlman of San Antonio, TX, Josef and Robin Schulz of Floresville, TX, Jason and Rachel Schulz of Bulverde, TX, and Jennifer and Jeremy Pirtle of St James, MO.
Also surviving are 14 grandchildren: Kristine, Amanda, Judy, Debra, Tasha, Stephanie, Mariden, Johnie, Samanatha, Justin, Rebecca, Joshua, Zachary, and Benjamin and three great-grandchildren: Johnie Jr., Bailey and Kimber.
She is also survived by her mother, Rosa Scott of New Braunfels, TX, and five siblings: Dorothy and Bud Bond of Hondo, TX, John and Earlyn Scott of Gruene, TX, Katherine St John of Richardson, TX, Evelyn and Mike Gurganus of New Braunfels, TX, and Sarah and Larry Reutter of St Louis, MO and 20 nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
