We do not even know where to begin. You leaving us was so unexpected. We are still numb with disbelief. While we hurt, we are comforted by knowing that you are with Alfred, our brother and your son. We are happy for both of you. Though we are apart, you will NEVER be forgotten. We will carry you with us everywhere we go. Thank you Mom for always putting us first, for always sacrificing and for always being loyal. Your wisdom and support in the past has laid the foundation for our success in the future. Your love was without limits. We are sorry that you will not be here to see Matthew, Alexandra and Jacquelyn grow. Please watch over them and guide them in life. They still need you.

Mary Rosalie Tovar died Monday, December 11, 2006, due to complications associated with a stroke.

She is preceded in death by her son Alfred E. Tovar and her father Marcial S. Escobedo. She is survived by her husband Alfred G. Tovar, sons Albert and Alex, daughter-in-law Valerie, future daughter-in-law Deanna, grandchildren Matthew, Alexandra and Jacquelyn, mother Mary Lucy Escobedo, siblings Mary Lucy Herrera Escobedo and Marcial H. Escobedo, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
