

Her life centered on her love of the Lord, her family, and music. She was born in Colfax, Washington, but raised in Ritzville, Washington. She graduated from Central Washington State College where she majored in choral music. At Central, she met her husband, Steve, and they married as college seniors.
Following graduation, they traveled the world for the next 21 years as an Air Force family, settling in San Antonio in 1988 after military retirement.
Over the years, Mary Lynne was choral director at several Lutheran churches and won a competitive military contract to provide all chaplain music services at Hickham AFB, Hawaii. She was employed at Raba-Kistner Engineering and was secretary of the San Antonio Chapter of the Society of Military Engineers, an active member of the board of the Unicorn Center, founder of the Council of Adoptable Children, and founding member of Hosanna! Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Stephen E. Wilson; son, Troy C. Wilson; and daughter Aubree-Anna and her husband Henry Stinson; and three grandchildren, Gabriela, Nigel, and Khalil Stinson. She is also survived by her three sisters, Connie Day, Kaye Baumgartner and husband Chris, and Susan Halwas-Morgan and her husband Jerry; as well as nieces and nephews.
