Matt was a 2002 graduate of James Madison High School. He was a ramp agent for Southwest Airlines for nine years. He was an avid Halloween enthusiast and prop maker for local haunts.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Tom Hogan. Matthew is survived by his wife of 9 years, Brittney Gilsdorf; sons, Jaxon and Jet Gilsdorf; his parents; sisters, Megan Cruz (Jordan) and Emily Gilsdorf; grandparents, Joyce Hogan and David and Marjorie Gilsdorf; mother-in-law, Amy Marchefka (Bill Delany) and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, cousins and a host of friends.
