Maudine Fiedler

Maudine Garrett Flory Fiedler, 95, resident of Town and Country Manor of Boerne, Texas, passed away on December 20, 2015, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born on April 17, 1920 in Venus, Texas to Rev. Lon Garrett and Dora Elizabeth Mills. In 1936 she married Harold Brooks Flory who passed away in 1965. She married Norman Joseph Fiedler in 1977, and he passed away in 1992. Prior to moving to Boerne she lived in Fredericksburg, TX, and was a member of the First Baptist Church there.

She is survived by her daughter May Nell (Me Me) Hill, son Jack Flory and his wife LaMoyne, daughter Sandra Davis, daughter Lynn Willborn, step-son Mike Fiedler, 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, son Lonnie Ray Flory, grandsons Guy Hill III, and Byron, brother Lon Charles, Garrett and sister Gaynelle Fuller.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 with the visitation beginning at 11AM and a service at 12PM in the Chapel of Sunset Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alamo Hospice, 1595 S. Main, Boerne, TX 78006 which was a loving and tender caregiver during her illness.
