I missed talking to you on your birthday this year. I love you and miss you. It's hard not calling you everyday anymore.

It has been 5 weeks and it does not get any easier. I miss you mom.

So many fond memories of Maureen. A wonderful person who will be sadly missed.

I was so very sorry to hear this and am so sorry that I was unable to attend the rosary, mass and funeral as I was out of the country. Maureen will be greatly missed by many. I pray and ask for comfort for her family during this time.

I was very sorry to hear the sad news of Maureen's passing. 
I will always hold her in great esteem, because she was definitely a great spokesperson for VA nurse anesthetists. She was truely a giver in her profession. 
My sincere symapathies are extended to the family and I will keep you in my prayers.

Maureen was my freind. We enjoyed a good glass of white wine and converstaion whenever we saw each other at meetings. She always made me smile with her vitality. Maureen was always alot of fun. I will miss her.

To Dennis and all of Maureen's family, 
I will always remember how Maureen took me under her wing when I became the nurse for Neurosurgery. She helped me navigate some very unfamiliar waters in the OR. I will always think of her as a wonderful mentor, and of the many happy times we shared stories of our Grandboys. God bless you and comfort you in this time of grief.

Maureen will truly be missed. She was a wonderful wife, mother, aunt, nurse, educator and friend. The sun has set on her life on earth but it has risen in heaven. My prayers are with her husband Dennis,her children, Sean, Lizzie & Justin, her grandchildren Brendan and Patrick. May the Angels of heaven watch over them during this time. I know Maureen will always be watching over them from heaven above.

When I think of Maureen, I remember that she was always smiling and laughing. She was such a joy to be around. I am blessed that I was able to know such a wonderful woman.

Maureen was a friend and mentor to me for over 20 years. She and Dennis were kind and supportive to our family when I was first stationed at Ft Hood in Killeen over 20 years ago, and a friendship blossomed that has lasted across the years and miles. Even through her health problems over the last few years, she was never too busy to help a friend or a student. As a scientist and educator, she has touched the lives and impacted on the medical community in ways that will continue through the years. The world has been a little richer for those of us she touched. Thank you.

I cannot be more humbled than to have called Dr. Reilly a most dear and longtime friend. This terrific woman served her country, her nation's Veterans, and her profession with vigor and distinction, in operating rooms and instructional classrooms in Texas and around the world, and in the halls of Congress in Washington, DC. Always on her lips were her care for her patients, and her boundless affection for Dennis and her family, and for our colleagues. No one had a bigger heart than Maureen Reilly. And now she is with the ages. May we, those she has left in this life, be worthy and brave enough to persevere her memory. Frank J. Purcell

I will always remember our good times together! Maureen was "always" a true friend and I will miss her greatly.

Friends are the fibers that one knits into the fabric of their life. When Maureen died, it ripped a hole into the fabric of my life. Time may mend the hole, but the fabric will never be as complete or as beautiful as it once was. I'll miss you, my friend.

A friend and colleague. Maureen will always be a treasured part of my life...we shared "braces" experiences, teaching of undergraduate nurses, professional and political issues...so many wonderful events. Maureen was not only my professor, mentor, but one who I called a friend. She was so supportive at a challenging time in my life and showed her love, support and acceptance. She was particularly supportive of Courtney and Jaeda and a source of love. My life is enriched by her touch. I first met Maureen as a nurse anesthetist at BAMC. I met up with her again when she was teaching at UTHSC-SA-I was a MSN student and she taught the pharmacology course I was in. I was lucky to be in classes with her daughter Liz and we then became friends, so again I was able to see more of Maureen. We do live in a small world. I have kept in touch with them through the years. Maureen was a very smart lady. I enjoyed her as a person but she made our phamacology class very interesting. She had a lot to give if you were willing to recieve. I know her family was very important to her as she would share many stories. I feel a loss at this time too. My heart goes out to her young family, that they hold tight to the wonderful memories she made with them. I pray that God bless them and is with all of you now and always.

Maureen has touched so many lives with her love, thoughtfulness, and knowledge. Encouraging us to grow as individuals and professionals, and giving us strenth to carry on when times were tough. Maureen will be missed by all. May God comfort her family through this difficult time. Our deepest sympathy,

I am saddened to hear of the homegoing of Dr. Reilly. She was an asset to the Army Nurse Corp, the United States Army Graduate Program in Anesthesia Nursing and to the CRNA profession. Her presence will be missed. Be comforted in knowing that she lives on in the lives and careers of the CRNAs that she has taught through the years. I can still remember the best advice she gave to me for getting though school "Be humble and lovable". Your family is in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this time of transition.
