

Miss Meagan Marie Lemon, known affectionately as Meg to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2024, in San Antonio at the age of 34. Born on September 13, 1989, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to Cynthia and Johnny Lemon, Meg was a vibrant spirit whose laughter and energy brought joy to all who knew her.
Meg grew up in a close-knit family alongside her brother, Jason, with whom she shared a bond that was both deep and enduring. Her family nurtured her talents and supported her endeavors. A proud graduate of Smithson Valley High School, Meg was an active and enthusiastic participant in the choir, even lettering. Her voice soared and her passion for music was evident to all.
Throughout her life, Meg demonstrated a zest for life that was truly contagious. Her participation in the Special Olympics was a testament to her competitive spirit and her will to succeed. Meg's collection of medals was not only a symbol of her athletic prowess but also of her determination.
Meg's professional life was characterized by her desire to bring happiness to others. Her time spent working at Six Flags, Sea World, and Santikos Cinema was marked by her infectious smile and her ability to create memorable experiences and brighten visitors’ days. Her work ethic was only a facet of her independence – she was living independently from age 18 until her passing as a member of the Southwind Fields community.
An avid sports enthusiast, Meg's loyalty to the San Antonio Spurs and the New England Patriots was unmatched. Meg also had a love for horror movies. She reveled in the thrill of a good scare and was always eager to share this excitement with her friends during movie nights.
Meg's life was a portrait of joy, resilience, and unwavering positivity. She inspired those around her to embrace life's challenges with grace and to find happiness in the simple moments. Her absence will be deeply felt by her loving parents, Cynthia and Johnny, her devoted brother, Jason, and by the countless friends and community members whose lives she touched.
