She is preceded in death by her mother Ofelia Rodriguez.
She is survived by her father, Hector Medellin; sons, Jesse Martinez and Joshua Martinez; father of her children, Jesse Martinez and his wife, Noemy Olmos whom was her loving caregiver; grandmother, Consuelo Medellin; aunt, Diana Montanez; and cousin, Elizabeth Martinez.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Kayla Martinez and Elizabeth Sanchez for their care and support.
A visitation for Melissa will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, 78211, with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 PM.
