Melton B. Koch was born on August 4, 1941 and passed from this life on May 1, 2012 at the age of 70. He retired after 34 years from the Office of Comptroller of the Currency as a Senior Bank Examiner. Mel is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sharon; children, Melanie Dianne Koch-Mendez (Gabriel), Melton Barton Koch, Jr., Brian Randolph Koch; grandchildren, Reid Michael and Kristofer Melton Jakob. Following his wishes, Mel will be cremated. A celebration of his life will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of San Antonio or the charity of your choice.
