Michael Wayne Brandt

Michael "Mike" Wayne Brandt, son - brother - nephew - cousin - friend, was born on August 29, 1969, at Bitburg Air Force Base in Bitburg, Germany. On September 16, 2015, Michael left his "mortal coil" (a term he affectionately used to describe his earthly body) to be forever more with The One Who Loves us best. He is survived by his father, Stuart "Sandy" Brandt; mother, Marsha Brandt; brother, David Brandt; sister, Christine "Tina" (Brandt) Crowson; brother-in-law, Wade Crowson; nieces: Christel, Angela, Kayla, and Audrey Crowson; nephew, Colin Crowson; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Michael was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in San Antonio, and a co-owner of TeamBrandt (a.k.a. Brisbin Rebuilders). Those who worked with and for him named him the "Cat Whisperer" for the uncanny way that - even the most snobby of - felines would gravitate to him. Though, he was a man of quick wit and dry humor, he was sincere in his devotion to God and love for people. His intellectual wisdom, tendency to be concise, and his quiet demeanor belied his sensitivity and compassion. Many are those who are grateful to have known him, and he will be intensely missed by all who loved him. A graveside service will be held on Saturday September 19, 2015 at 2:00PM at Sunset Memorial Park 1701 Austin Highway San Antonio, TX 78218.

Following the service will be a reception hosted by the Care Team at Grace Community Church (701 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148) at 3:30.
