Michael L. Dickerson

Michael served in the military from 1971 to 1981, he worked as a registered nurse his specialty was in nuero and oncology, served as a mass general in Boston for 8 years, worked at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas for 5 years, Fort Sam Houston for 3 years, he was also an assistant director of nursing at St. Luke’s Lutheran in San Antonio, Tx. for 5 years as well as various R.N. positions. Michael was a member of the Alamo Empire for 5 years, he collected money for various charities such as Metro Community Church, he also worked the food pantry starting with a few cans building it to a full pantry, assisting over 100 families along the way.

He was preceded in death by, his parents Juanita and Thelbert Dickerson, two grandchildren, Kendell Singleton, and Haileigh Dickerson. Michael is survived by his daughter, Karen Larson, son, Steven A. Dickerson (Jennifer), brother, Larry L. Dickerson, sister, Teresa Kratzer, grandchildren, Kiki Singleton (Miguel Ramon), Kacia Flores, Ashleigh M. Dickerson, Michael A. Dickerson, Daniel Dickerson, great grandchildren, Isaiah Flores, Ruben J. Flores, Abrigal Flores, Naomi Ramon, and Mason Ramon.
