Michael Leonard Jackson, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on August 9, 2025, at the age of 69.
Michael was a 1974 graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School in San Antonio. Shortly after graduation, he proudly enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served his country and attained the rank of Sergeant. Following his military service, Michael began a long career at San Antonio International Airport, where he worked faithfully for 27 years before retiring.
Michael was an avid sports enthusiast and a devoted fan of John Wayne movies. He also loved traveling and spending time with his many special friends.
Michael is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Jackson, his grandparents, and his sister, Juanita.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Jennifer Redmond (n'e Jackson); his mother, Dolores Jackson; his younger sister Patricia Fallis; and his two younger brothers, Peter Jackson and Jerome Jackson.
Michael will be remembered for his dedication, his love for family and friends, and the joy he brought to those around him.
