Michael Harold Killingstad, age 61, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Michael was born August 29, 1960 in Baumholder, Germany. He was preceded in death by his parents Harold G. and Ilse Killingstad and is survived by his wife Raquel Killingstad; children Christopher Killingstad and Amanda Killingstad; brother Harold J. Killingstad and sister Barbara Killingstad; along with numerous cousins in the States and Germany. A proud Army brat, Michael, grew up on nine different military posts throughout the US and Europe for the first 17 years of his life. A graduate of Holmes High School and UTSA, he’s been employed by USAA since 2003. Michael is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by us all. You may be gone from our sight but will never be gone from our heart.
A final viewing for Michael will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238.
