Michael Antonio Martinez

Michael was fascinated with computers and technology. He found joy in gardening, fishing, traveling, and being around horses. He was especially proud of his own garden, which he lovingly tended and treated as a peaceful retreat. A lover of the ocean, he enjoyed surfing and found peace in the waves. His love for music was a defining part of his life, especially his devotion to his favorite band, The Scorpions. Michael was proud to have attended 53 of their concerts, a testament to the joy and energy their music brought to his life.

He is preceded in death by his father, Antonio Romero Martinez.

He is survived by his loving mother, Olga C. Martinez; brother, Chris Martinez (Kathy); and sister, Belinda Y. Martinez (Sidney). He also leaves behind his cherished nieces, Amanda Perez (Daniel) and Jessica Castellanos (Javier); great-nieces, Aviana Grace Perez, Amelia Faith Perez, and Evelyn Araceli Castellanos; and great-nephew, Luca Antonio Castellanos. Michael will also be lovingly remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Michael’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His laughter, his stories, and his passion for life will never be forgotten.

There will be a Visitation held Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm, with a Rosary being recited at 11:00 am at at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237.
