I have not seen Mike in many years but we were good friends & neighbors for many of our school years. Eloise & my mother are still real good friends. You all have my prayers for your loss.

HAD A LOT OF GOOD TIMES WITH MIKE.I KNOW HE WAS NOT KING OF WEARING A TIE,WE ALWAYS TOOK THEM OFF AS SOON AS WE COULD AT PARTYS WE WENT TO.WISH I COULD HAVE PLAYED GOLF ONE TIME WITH HIM. MY THOUGHTS OR WITH YOU JUDY.

I am saddend to hear of Mike's passing. I had known Mike for many years and purchased insulation years and years ago from him. When I returned to selling metal buildings again, he called me out of the blue about a year ago just to say hello and catch up on news. I had told him that I would stay in touch and have lunch, I am sorry that I put it off. Mike was always a fun and happy person and you never had an idea what he might do. I can still remember when the MBMA had their annual meeting in San Antonio around 1988 or so, I think. Mike dressed up in a white tuxedo or maybe suit with a red & white hat and served ice cream to all the convention goers to market his product. Needless to say he was a hit and all of his friends really had a great time kidding him about the outfit. Another favorite memory of Mike was about 1989 and my son was just three years old and we were in the Albertosn's in Universal City and I talked my son into going up to Mike and hug his leg and holler DADDY-DADDY-DADDY me and Mom have missed you so much when are coming back. I can still see the shock on his face as he had no idea who this kid was calling him Daddy hanging onot his leg. When I came from around the corner he said "I should have known you would pull something like this"! These are just a few of the stories I can remember, I hope that somehow through all of what you are going through that you can find a smile or two. Mike would like that. Take care and God Bless.

Dear Judy and Family, Please know that Mike, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. 
 There's no way to put twenty-five years of friendship into words in this short space but,we want to say, while we are deeply saddened by Mike's untimely passing and we feel like we've lost our good friend we were simply reminded, by Kelsie, that we haven't lost him because we have lots of good memories of times spent with you and Mike.

Judy, and the Pinkham Family: I honestly, cannot imagine what it's like to lose a brother, father, or husband. I myself thought of Mike as a second dad... basically someone who would keep me in line if my own dad wasn't around... or if he just wanted to give his input. As I sit here and try to think of what to say, I just remain speechless. All I can really come up with is how much I'm going to miss those little lectures, and words of wisdom. He will forever remain in my heart. 
 When my grandfather passed away I wrote a poem... it just came to me... and came from my heart. I wrote one about Mike; it doesn't have a title yet, but I wanted to share it with you anyway. The first poem I wrote, 
Was a way of letting go. 
But this time it's different, 
'Cause I just don't know. I don't know why, 
He chose you and not me. 
I've been taught not to question it, 
"What's meant to be will be". But someone like you, 
Who made me laugh and now cry, 
Those are just a few reasons, 
That I wonder why. Maybe the ketchup is better in Heaven, 
And the 'vettes are faster too, 
And I bet no place on Earth, 
Has a better view. But it still doesn't explain, 
Why you had to go, 
Leaving behind family and friends, 
And a wonderful woman who feels so alone. I know if you were here, 
You'd call me a big baby, 
But maybe then you'd see the love, 
And take it back..........maybe. I really can't explain, 
How hard it has been, 
So I'll just keep praying, 
And may angels lead you in. But if heart's are made of dust, 
And if we fell from the stars, 
Then I'll look up tonight, 
And know just where you are. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. I'm so sorry for your loss. Love,

To the Pinkham Family: We are all deeply saddened by the untimely loss of a great man. In the five years I knew Mike, he was always honest and a great friend to me. He will be deeply missed. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you in the days and months to come. Judy, may you find comfort in knowing Mike was completely committed to you. He adored you! May God watch over you and protect you! Mike, looks like you'll finally get to drive your 'vette with God himself and not have to ever worry about a day of rain.
