Dr. Miguel A. Medina, age 69, Professor Emeritus and Retired Associate Dean of Biomedical Sciences of the UTHSCSA died suddenly Wednesday, March 6, 2002. He was born in Laredo, TX. on July 5, 1932. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Johnnie Word Medina; son, Paul Stewart Bounds and wife Rachel; daughters, Amy Medina Repp and Sara Medina-Pape and husband Brian; grandchildren, Michael Bounds, Jacob Repp, Jenna Repp, Ian Pape and Natalie Pape; sister, Celia Kutcher and husband Eddie; nieces, Mercedes Kutcher and husband Dale Messerle, and Judith Kutcher; aunt, Ruth Jones; cousins, Cesar Medina, Melba Braddock and children, Eloy Medina and family and Yolanda Medina.
