Mildred Sylvia Brown, age 92, went to be with the Lord on January 4, 2013. She was born on January 9, 1920 in Tampa, FL to Otis Leroy & Mildred Grandstaff. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Brown; and brother, Wane Grandstaff.
She is survived by her daughter, Joy Tidd; 2 grandchildren, Maria Blalock & Curtis Tidd; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; sister, Laurel Grandstaff; brother, Leroy Grandstaff.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home. Cremation will follow at Sunset Crematory.
