

Mildred was born San Antonio, Texas to Jesse H. and Irma Monroe on July 25, 1926. She graduated from Brackenridge High School, then worked as a photo developer for Army Map Service during World War II. She married the love of her life, Charles E. (Charlie) Pedrotti, Sr. on May 1, 1945 at her parents home in San Antonio. They were members of the San Antonio Gem and Mineral Society for many years, and traveled around the U.S. hunting rocks and gems to make amazing slabs, cabs, and jewelry with their lapidary equipment. Later, Mildred created more than 100 of her beautiful “Faberge Eggs” which she designed and decorated with colorful beads and rhinestones for her family and friends.
Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Pedrotti, Sr., Parents Jesse H. and Irma Monroe, brother Jesse (Jack) Monroe, sister Fern (Monroe) Walker, and granddaughter Sheila Denise Pedrotti.
She is survived by daughter Gail Lynn (Pedrotti) and her husband Larry Faulk, son Charles E. (Charlie) Pedrotti, Jr. and his wife Brenda Kay (Causey), daughter, Marilyn Joann (Pedrotti) and her husband David L. Schlameus; grandchildren, Dwayne Pique and his wife Cindy Edwards), Melissa (Faulk) and her husband Bryce Kessler, Charles E. (Trey) Pedrotti, III, Julie (Jules) Schlameus Follmer, and Karen (Schlameus) and her husband Kris Legg; great-grandchildren, Dylan Pique and his wife Abby (Taylor), Halston Pique, Camryn Pique and her Fiance Hunter Etchieson, Elley Kessler, Easton Kessler, Alexa Legg, and Karter Legg; and niece, Laurie Walker, and numerous Pedrotti nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Dwayne Pique, Bryce Kessler, Dylan Pique, Halston Pique, Hunter Etchieson, and Justin Sadler. Honorary Pallbearers will be Trey Pedrotti and Jim Metcalf.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at
Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Bill Shockley officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery.
