Minnie Pearl Wilson Griffing, born April 10, 1916, died Thursday, April 11, 2002. She has worked as an elementary teacher, U.S. government worker and recently as a real estate agent. She was very active in many committees at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church including Head of Lay Pastoral Care, Leader of Seekers Sunday School Class, President of Women's Society of Christian Services, and a member of The Administrative Board. Mrs. Griffing is preceded in death by her parents, Baxter and Margaret Wilson, her sister, Nannie Bell Meinecke and brothers, Lewis and Alvin Lee Wilson. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Otis Culver Griffing of San Antonio, TX; brother-in-law, William Whitfield Griffing of Ann Arbor, MI; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other family, and friends
