She is preceded in death by her brothers, Jack and Charles Hornberger.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Hubert H. MacMcDougal; daughter, Molly Hefner; son, Michael McDougal; beloved grandson, Christopher Hefner; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mona was born on August 3, 1915, in San Antonio to Olga and Jacob Hornberger. She graduated in the first graduating class of Jefferson High School in 1932. She received her BBA from UT Austin in 1935.
She was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority, the Battle of Flowers Association, The San Antonio Country Club, the Perennial Garden Club and a founding member of the Revellers Club.
There will be a private graveside service.
