

Monica was a beautiful soul with a creative mind and a loving heart. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Monica wrote and sang songs, she designed clothing and was a great storyteller. Monica also loved to cook, travel, and go to concerts to see her favorite bands. She was always dressed so fashionably and loved to go shopping. Monica was a fighter in life, she never gave up, she was always so strong. She overcame several obstacles that came her way and she always kept strong faith in God. She was so beautiful, inside, and out. Monica was full of life and love, she will be forever missed and never forgotten.
She was preceded in death by her father; and sister, Magda Margot Morantes. Monica is survived by her mother, Frances Lozano Morantes; daughter, Victoria Morantes; brother, Ramsey Morantes; sisters, Josephine Joubert and Marlena Terrazas; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members and friends. The family will receive family and friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Porter Loring Mortuary.
