Monica Urbina, age 75, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Monica was born on September 18, 1948, in San Antonio, Texas to mother, Oralia Lara and stepfather, Frank Lara (birth father was Esteban Urbina). She graduated from John F. Kennedy H.S. from the Class of 1967. She was preceded in death by her mother, Oralia Lara, Stepfather, Frank Lara, Birth father, Esteban Urbina and her brother, Jose Lara. Monica is survived by her daughter, Melissa Benitez; siblings, Oralia Lara-Vargas (Robert Vargas) and Pedro Lara; former spouse, Mario Benitez; and nephews, family, and friends.
