She was born May 6, 1928 in Roseland, Arkansas and moved to San Antonio in 1987.
Muriel enjoyed gardening, reading and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Martha Hulsman; her sister, Mildred Loftus; and her brother, Harry Edward Hulsman.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Blalock; sisters, Marcella DePrist of Abilene, TX and Alma Cartwright of Fresno, CA; brothers, Louie F. Hulsman of Lufkin, TX, Howard L. Hulsman of Livingston, TX and Clifford G. Hulsman of Hurst, TX; numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be the Angelina County Sheriff's Department.
