Nancy Ann Chadwell Peyton passed away peacefully on Monday morning, February 10, 2025. Nancy was born July 14,1931 in Omaha, NE to Charles Herbert Chadwell and Mary Alice Basset Chadwell. Nancy was the middle child of three and is preceded in death by her older brother Charles H. Chadwell, III and is survived by a young sister, Janice (Jan) Chadwell Holt.
Nancy was married to George Bailey Peyton, III for 52 years prior to his death. To this marriage were born three children, Linda Peyton Hudson (Kevin), George Bailey Peyton, IV (Amy) and Charles Randolph Peyton. Nancy is survived by her three children, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
The family is grateful for the many friends she had throughout her life and at her last residence at Franklin Park Alamo Heights as well as the special care of her caregivers in the last few weeks of her life including Betty Gonzales, Carolina(Kiki) Levrie, Elizabeth Paez, and Brittney Gilbert.
A private service was held for family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to Franklin Park Employee Fund or to a charity of your choice.
